药物代谢过程是影响药物发挥作用及产生毒性的过程。中药的配伍变化会直接导致药效成分在体内的代谢发生变化。运用LC/MSn等现代分析技术手段进行中药复方代谢研究,对于中药现代化有重要意义:研究中药复方体内代谢特征,探索中药复方的作用机制和配伍原理;通过体内代谢过程研究,寻找新的治疗药物;为中药新型给药系统的研究开发提供依据。

The process of drug metabolism is such which may exert influence on the development of the effectiveness and the production of the toxicity of drugs. The change of the compatibility of traditional Chinese medicines may lead directly to the change of the metabolism of drug effectiveness in human body. Therefore, the investigation of the metabolism of compound Chinese drugs by modern analytical techniques, such as LC/MSn, may play important roles as follows in the modernization of traditional Chinese medicine: to study the characteristics of in vivo metabolism and explore the functional mechanisms and compatibility principles of compound Chinese drugs; to find new drugs by the study of the process of in vivo metabolism; and to provide scientific basis for the research and development of new administration systems of Chinese drugs.
