本文对美国1995～2000年间公开的与中国药典所载中药材基原相关的发明专利文献进行系统检索和初步整理,总结分析国外在复方组方上的特点及思路,归纳为传统方剂型、营养组合型、土产加合型及现代药理型4种。作者提出:要真正阐释中医方剂组合原理的科学实质,关键不在“方、药”而在“理、法”;企望从外国植物药组方探求建构现代中药组方理论,尚未能得出直接启示。

Through systematic retrieval and preliminary sorting - out of the literatures concerning discovery patents which were open to public in the USA during 1995 - 2000 and related to the Chinese medicinal materials recorded in the pharmacopeia in China, this article summarizes and analyzes the characteristics and thoughts in the formulation of prescriptions in other countries and sums them up in four types, i. e., traditional prescriptions, nutrient integration, the combination of autochthonism and modern pharmacology. The authors of this article hold that the key to truly expounding the scientific essence of the principles for the formulation of the prescriptions of Chinese medicines does not lie in prescription and medicine but in theory and methodology . They hope to explore and find how to build theories for the formulation of prescriptions of Chinese medicines, from the prescriptions composed of plant medicines in other countries, but no immediate inspiration has been drawn.
