药用植物亲缘学(Pharmaphylogeny)是研究药用植物的植物亲缘关系-化学成分-疗效(药理活性及传统疗效)间的相关性的一门新兴的边缘学科,它的特点是多学科相互交叉、相互渗透,其研究对象涉及多学科领域。该学科的建立对于开发药用植物资源具有重要指导意义。本文围绕药用植物亲缘学的概念、形成背景、研究范围和关键技术以及对中药资源利用的意义进行阐述。

"Pharmaphylogeny"derives from two word "pharma" and "phylogeny". Pharmaphylogeny focuses on the phylogenetic correlation between phylogeny, chemical constituents and pharmaceutical effects of medicinal plants. Like many contemporary fields of science, pharmaphylogeny represents a highly interdisciplinary science which is one of many areas of pharmaceutical education. Its scope includes the study of the phylogeny, botanical taxonomy, chemical, biochemical and biological properties of natural medicinal plants as well as the search for new drugs from natural sources. Research problems in pharmaphylogeny include studies in the areas of phytochemistry, microbial chemistry, biosynthesis, biotransformation, chemotaxonomy, and other biological and chemical sciences. This paper presents a brief introduction of pharmaphylogeny in terms of its mission, research scope and related research methods as well as its promotion on the development of Chinese Medicine.
