开展中医疗效评价指标和方法研究,应当首先解决7个认识问题:中医疗效评价指标研究与辨证规范研究的关系和程序;中、西医疗效评价指标之间的关系和取舍方法;把中医的证作为所有疾病疗效评价指标的可行性和科学性;证的诊断指标与证的疗效判断指标之间的关系和区别;证与量表的关系和择优选用;证作为疗效评价指标自身存在的缺陷;建立中医疗效评价指标和方法体系与提高中医药疗效的关系。这是开展此类研究应当首先解决和统一的认识问题。本文对这些问题逐一进行了讨论。

It is neccessary to resolve the following seven problems in the study on the index and method of the assessment of curative effects of traditional Chinese medicine （TCM）: the relationship between the study on the index of the assessment of curative effects and that of the normalization of syndrome differentiation of traditional Chinese medicine as well as their procedures, the relationship betreen the index of the assessment of curative effects of traditional Chinese and Western medicine as well as the method for their choice, the feasibility and scientific criteria that the syndromes in TCM could be regarded as the indexes of the assessment of curative effects of all diseases, the relationship between the diagnostic indexes and those of effect judgement of syndromes and their distinction, the relationship between syndromes and scales and their choice, the faults of syndromes when taken for the index of curative effect, and the relationship between the establishment of the system of assessment index and method of TCM effect and the improvement of TCM effect. All the problems as metiioned above should be understood unanimously and resolved before embarking on the study of them. In this article the said problems are delt with one by one.
