本文概述了国内外数字图书馆发展现状与建设模式,探讨了中医药数字图书馆的建设内容、现有基础及发展目标,提出中医药数字图书馆应采用先进的信息技术对世界范围内的中医药文献信息资源进行现代化管理,以网络形式向全世界发布,实现最大程度的资源共享,并为中医药科技创新和持续发展提供文献信息资源保障。

This paper reviews the history and current development of digital library in China and overseas.Based on the infrastructures of digital library in China,it puts forwards a model in building Traditional Chinese Medicine Digital Library (TCMDL).TCMDL will utilize emerging information technology to store and organize documentation and in- formation resources of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM),and to share the resources worldwide.Therefore it will become the best information resources and provide high quality service for the research and development of TCM. This paper also summarizes the contents,basic foundation and aims to build TCMDL.
