The development level of the machines for preparing Chinese madicinal materials not only reflects the technical level but also means the guarantee for the improvement of the quality of prepared slices of Chinese herbal medicine. Therefore it is a problem the circles of both the profession of the preparation of Chinese medicinal materials and the machinery industry are concerned about whether the traditional stir-frying methods for the preparation of Chinese medicine can be succeded and improved in the production of modern machines.This article describes and analyzes the development process,the latest progress,the structural characteristics and the existing problems of stir-frying machines for the preparation of Chinese medicine aiming at offering an idea in the direction of their development.
