The paper summarizes the research efforts in measuring Baicalin in the last five years. It describes four major measuring systems, including ultraviolet spectrophotometry（UV）, thin-layer chromatography scanning（TLCS）, high performance liquid chromatography （HPLC）, and high performance capillary electrophoresis（HPCE）.
