为进一步了解我国医学发展的状况、存在的问题, 分析医学发展的趋势和前景, 课题组重点针对医学的发展趋势与前景、发展战略与发展模式、医学诊疗康复策略、临床应对慢性疾病和老年病、医学研究思路、内容与方法、医疗卫生保健体系等方面的问题, 进行了问卷调查。结果显示: 中西医结合在未来中国医学发展的各项调查中占绝对优势; 中医在“医学诊疗康复策略”和“应对慢性疾病、老年病”方面具有优势; 西医在#研究思路、内容与方法等方面? 具有优势。认为未来中国医学发展的前景是中西医并存者为主流, 并预示未来中国的医学发展形成新医学的可能性。

A questionnaire surveyw as launched to improve the understanding of medical development in China, and associated problems, trends, and perspectives. The survey asks the questions in 8 major categories, including development trends, perspectives, development strategies, development modalities, and health care system. Results show that 1) the combination o f traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine makes an overwhelming call by all the items investigated; 2) TCM is believed a most powerful tool for treating chronic and geriatric diseases, and for rehabilitation as well; 3) western medicine shows its strength in crafting ideas, contents and methods for medical research; 4)most people who answered the questionnaires believe that the combination of traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine will become a mainstream for future medical development in China. They also agree that it is possible that such a development may eventually lead to the birth of a new medical system.
