Protein is not only the final executant of life functions but also the key to understand physiological,pathological and pharmacological functions. The main aim of proteomics is to analyze the whole protein expressed by a genome of a life being or a kind of tissue or cell. Its strategy and technology shed lights on traditional Chinese medicine research and provides a new orientation for modernization and mechanism exploration of traditional Chinese medicine.
