中药血清化学是依据中药口服后其移行入血的成分有可能发挥药效的思路，通过综合运用现代的提取、分析技术，对药物口服吸收后含药血清中的原型成分及其代谢产物进行对比分析研究，从而可直接筛选和判断出中药及复方中的有效成分并据此较快速地探明其药效物质基础，同时辅助阐明中药复方的配伍机制和意义，以此发挥对中药现代化进程的加速和推动作用。本文结合中药血清化学的方法从其辅助血清药理学研究、药剂学的剂型和辅料筛选、中药炮制品的药性和药效优选、中药复方及院内制剂的药效物质基础研究、复方加减方的配伍研究及临床上的药物热、药物基因组学及给药方案个体化等角度探讨了其在中药相关学科研究中的方法学意义。

This paper introduces the concept of TCM serum pharmacochemistry and its methodology in studying the disciplines concerning pharmacy, and especially discusses the application of seropharmacology, pharmaceutics, the pharmacodynamic material foundation of compound preparation and the hospital preparations、compatibility of medicines in prescription, drugfever, pharmacogenomics and individualization dosage regimen. As the species in blood and the possible metabolites which have been demonstrated to originate from the prescription are responsible for the observed efficacy, the authors pointed out that the TCM serum pharmacochemistry may play a contributing role in facilitating the TCM modernization.
