中药炮制原理研究是中药药性理论研究的重要组成部分，而中药药性理论是中药理论的基础和核心。本文从炮制改变中药药性科学内涵的角度，探讨了炮制与药性相关性的研究方法问题。认为功能药性与药理作用的结合，是现代科学了解、认识中医药基础理论的重要渠道，也可能是最便捷的渠道。正因如此，通过对中药功能药性的现代科学基础研究，可以了解功能药性理论的科学内涵，从而用现代科学的理念来认识功能药性理论。同时，从认识炮制改变中药药性的科学内涵变化规律来诠释炮制与药性改变的相关性。

Based on the scientific intensions variation concerning the Chinese medicine properties by processing, this article discusses the research approaches to explore the relation between the processing and properties of Chinese medicine. It is generally considered that the combination of the function property and pharmacological effect is the most significant and convenient way to understand the fundamental theory of traditional Chinese medicine by modern scientific technologies. Therefore, the theory of the function property can be obtained with the modern scientific methods which may clarify the scientific intensions through the basic research. Meanwhile, the relation between the processing and property can also be interpreted through the annotation of the variation regulations of the scientific intensions.
