运用本草学和分类学方法对古今本草涉及龙胆的文献进行系统梳理分析，表明中药龙胆品种在五代以前由龙胆Gentiana scabra Bge.单一来源到宋以降由龙胆和条叶龙胆Gentiana manshurica Kitag.2个来源再到现在4个来源的变化，有正品、代用品和伪品差异，产地与道地性随历史而变迁，采制与炮炙方法不断改进，性、效，用因临床应用而不断完善。

Based on approaches of herbalism and phytotaxonomy,ancient and modern literature on Chinese gentian root was analyzed systematically.The result showed that the origin of Chinese gentian root varied from the single origin Gentiana scabra Bge.before the Five dynasty to the two-origin Chinese gentian root,which are G.scabra Bge.and G.manshurica Kitag.,after Song dynasty.And then the four-origin Chinese gentian root appeared with some substitute and fake materials.The producing area and authenticity have also been changed from place to place historically.The collecting and preparing methods innovated continually.The medicinal properties,action and utilization developed constantly in clinic practice.
