应用认知语言学的原型范畴理论、概念隐喻理论研究中医病因学说中的“六淫”，发现“六淫”是6 个“范畴”而非6 个“实体”，是以自然界“六气”为原型形成的概念隐喻，是范畴化的结果，从“六气”到“六淫”是对语言的跨域应用。因此，理解中医六淫概念不能仅仅将我们的视线集中在文字表象上，必须探究文字背后所蕴含的深意。

Prototype theory and conceptual metaphor theory in cognitive linguistics were applied in the study of "six evils" of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). "Six evils" was found to be six "domains" instead of six "entities."The conceptual metaphor formation of "six evils" is based on the prototype of "climate" in the nature. It is the result of categorization, which is from the "six climatic qi" to "six evils." It is a cross-domain application of language. Therefore, understanding the concept of TCM "six evils" should not only focus on the literary meaning but also need to explore the deep meaning.
