黄连吴茱萸药对配伍的方剂，自宋代就有其运用的记载，传统中医常用其治疗湿热蕴于肝胆、脾胃及大肠所致的各种病症，经历代医家证实其临床疗效确切。现代研究显示，该药对的药理作用广泛，具有良好的抗肿瘤、镇痛、抑菌及抗炎活性，对应激性溃疡、功能性消化不良、慢性结肠炎等均有良好的疗效。但由于黄连与吴茱萸药性不同，基于不同配比组成的方剂药性不相一致，其功用与主治也各异，故限制了黄连吴茱萸药对的临床应用，也加大了医药工作者对该药对创新研究的难度。本文主要对黄连吴茱萸药对的理论基础、化学成分、药理药效研究及应用进展进行系统的阐述，多角度、深层次地探析药对的配伍内涵及治证本质，以期为黄连吴茱萸药对的进一步研究与开发提供依据。

Prescriptions compatibility of Coptis chinensis and Euodia rutaecarpa, which was first recorded in Song Dynasty, has been widely used in the treatment of diseases caused by damp accumulating in liver, gallbladder, spleen, intestines and stomach in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). Modern pharmacological researches have demonstrated that the compatibility has various pharmacological activities, such as analgesic, antitumor, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and so on. Clinically, it was proved to be effective on stress ulcer, functional dyspepsia and chronic colitis with bright development prospects. However, because of the opposite potency of Coptis chinensis and Euodia rutaecarpa, prescriptions consisted of the two drugs with different ratio is either different in potency or in function and indications. This complicated relation not only restricts the clinical application of the Coptis-Evodia herbal couple, but also increases the difficulties for researchers on drug innovation. Based on the systemic illustration of theoretical foundation, chemical constituents, pharmacological and pharmaceutical evaluation, and application progress on Coptis-Evodia herbal couple, the study mainly focuses on the analysis of compatible connotation and therapeutic nature, aiming to offer references and evidences for further researches and development.
