黄芪当归是经典的补气生血药对，具有独特的配伍意义，故历久不衰，沿用至今。传统中医认为黄芪当归药对具有益气生血的功效，可用于治疗劳倦内伤、气血两虚、阳浮于外的热证等症状。现代研究发现，该药对具有调节免疫系统、保护心脑血管、促进造血以及抑制肿瘤增殖等药理作用。临床上常用于治疗肿瘤患者因放化疗引起的免疫力低下或白细胞减少症，以及因雌激素水平波动而引起的更年期综合症。本文通过查阅国内外关于黄芪当归药对化学成分、药理作用和应用研究等最新研究成果，对黄芪当归药对的研究概况进行全面综述，为进一步开发应用提供指导。

The herb pairs of Radix Astragali (RA, Huangqi) and Angelica sinensis (AS, Danggui) is a classic prescription which has been used for invigorating qi and nourishing blood for centuries to treat patients who are over tiredness and excess emotion or deficient pattern of qi and blood. Because of its unique bioactivities and irreplaceable efficacy, this herb pairs have been studied in many researches. Modern pharmacological researches have demonstrated that this herb pairs have various functions such as it can enhance immune activity, promote hemopoiesis, adjust estrogenic activity, and protect osteocyte effects. Clinically, this herb pairs are often used in the treatment of patients with low immunity and leucopenia caused by radiation and chemotherapy in cancer, as well as for the women with menopausal syndrome cause by estrogen level fluctuations. Nowadays, based on traditional Chinese medicine theory, chemical ingredients, pharmacologic effects and latest application on RA-AS herb pairs, this article aims to summarize the comprehensive research process of the two herbs formula and provide scientific foundation for further development and utilization of herb pairs.
