继承传统中医药理论和中药整体调理、辨证施治治疗特色，发展成分明确、机理清楚、质量可控的创新中药是中药现代化的主要任务。在当前转化医学提出的国际化背景下，发挥传统中药丰富临床经验的优势，结合现代“组学”等整体研究的思路，探寻临床观察-实验验证-临床检验的转化医学研究模式，将为传统中药的继承和发展提供新思路，为创新中药的开发提供新方法。

It is a key task in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) modernization and internationalization to develop Chinese Materia Medica (CMM) with the clear component, interaction mechanism and controllable quality based on the inheritance of TCM theories and characteristics of systematic regulation & individual treatment according to TCM syndrome. With the upsurge of translational medicine, the novel methods of metabonomics and other-omics will be married with the plentiful TCM clinical experiences according to the regulation of translational medicine, i.e., from the clinical trial to laboratory research and back to clinical therapies for patients. Undoubtedly, this research mode of translational medicine will provide fresh inspiration for inheritance and development of traditional Chinese medicine.
