附子是临床常用的有毒中药，具有回阳救逆、补火助阳、散寒止痛功效，用于亡阳虚脱及阳虚诸证，被誉为“百药之长”。附子多糖是其有效成分之一，研究发现附子多糖具有调节免疫、抗肿瘤、保护心肌细胞、降血脂等作用。

Aconite roots are a common clinical poisonous herb in Chinese herb. It has the effect of restoring yang and rescuing collapse, supplementing fire and assisting yang, eliminating cold and relieving pain. It is used in the treatment of yang collapse and yang deficiency syndromes. It is called "principle medicine of all medicines". Monkshood polysaccharide is one of effective components in Aconite roots. The study found that monkshood polysaccharide has effects of immune regulation, antitumor, myocardial preservation, lipid lowering, etc.
