中药有效成分研究是中药开发与应用的关键科学问题，是新药创制的重要源泉，基于中药有效单体成分的新药开发是研发具有自主知识产权新药的一条重要途径。一直以来，中国科学家们在这方面开展了大量的工作，也取得了许多令我们称赞和骄傲的佳绩。一些从研究中药有效单体成分出发而成功开发为化学实体类新药的代表性工作，更值得我们学习和借鉴，本文对此做一概括性地介绍，希望为新世纪、新形势下的中药新药开发提供一些参考。

The effective composition of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)is the key scientific issues of TCM development and application, and is an important source of new drug discovery.Developing effective monomer compositions from TCM could be significant ways to discover drugs with independent intellectual property rights.Therefore,our scientists have long been working in this area, and also have made manypraise and proud successes.Representative works among those researches, especially of new chemical entitiesoriginated from monomer compositions of TCM,are worthy for us to learn and reference for the ongoing drug developments of TCM.
