2016年2月国务院印发了《中医药发展战略规划纲要（2016-2030年）》。《规划纲要》围绕我国中医药发展的现实需求和未来发展趋势，明确了未来15年中医药的发展目标和工作重点，制定了较为完善的保障措施和组织措施，在中医药发展任务和措施方面进行了系统规划，是新时期推进中国中医药事业发展的纲领性文件。
