中药现代化包括中药材现代化、中药饮片现代化、中药提取现代化、中药制剂现代化四个方面。从品种、种植、栽培、采收、仓储等方面阐述中药材现代化；从中药炮制现代化、生产中的问题及建议、技术手段 等方面阐述中药饮片现代化；从现状、发展趋势势等方面阐述中药提取物现代化；从中药新剂型研究、中药制剂 的质量稳定均一性问题等方面阐述中药制剂现代化。对中药现代化模式进行综述，为促进中药产业健康发展， 实现中药现代化、标准化、产业化国际化奠定基础。

Modernization of Chinese medicine includes four aspects: modernization of Chinese medicinal materials, Chinese medicine decoction pieces, Chinese medicine extraction and Chinese medicine preparation. The modernization of Chinese medicinal materials was expounded from the aspects of variety, planting, cultivation, harvesting and storage, and the modernization of Chinese medicine decoction pieces was expounded in the aspects of the modernization of the processing of Chinese medicine and the problems in production, technical means, and so on. The modernization of the traditional Chinese medicine extraction was expounded from the present situation and the trend of development. The modernization of Chinese medicine preparations is expounded from the aspects of the research of new dosage forms, stability and uniformity of Chinese medicine preparations. The modernization mode of Chinese medicine is reviewed in order to promote the healthy development of Chinese medicine industry and lay the foundation for the modernization, standardization and industrialization of Chinese medicine.
