斑秃虽然不影响健康，但会影响容貌，是一种损容性疾病，在一定程度上影响患者的心理和精神状态。中医对斑秃的治疗既往多从肝肾亏虚、气血不足等虚损来论治，笔者通过梳理斑秃的病因病机，分析斑秃的临床症状及表现，认为斑秃是情志所致疾病，应当归结为情志应激类疾病。情志应激影响脏腑功能，脏腑功能受损而致气血生成、输布失常，进而导致头发失却濡养而成斑秃。斑秃的病因归结到底是情志应激，故对斑秃的治疗当以情志调节为主，找到情志应激的源头，以情治情，情志相胜，同时配合脏腑调理，身心同治，以期取得良好疗效。

Alopecia areata (AA) does not affect health, but it affects the appearance and is a disfiguring disease that affects the psychological and mental state of the patient to some degree. The treatment of AA in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) has mostly been based on liverand kidney deficiency, qi and blood deficiency, etc. However, by sorting out the etiology and pathogenesis of AA and analyzing the clinical symptoms and manifestations of AA, the author believes that AA is a disease caused by emotions and should be attributed to emotional stress. Emotional stress affects the function of zang-fu organs, which leads to abnormal production and distribution of qi and blood, then in turn leads to the loss of nutrients of the hair, resulting in AA. Therefore, the treatment of baldness should focus on the regulation of emotion, so as to find the source of emotional stress, treat emotion with emotion, and overcome emotion and will, and at the same time, cooperate with the regulation of the zang-fu organs to treat both body and mind, in order to achieve good results.
